subsurface net render fails |

Hi
I'm having big problems with subsurface. The scene renders fine locally, but net rendering gives me the subsurface only on frame 1. Subsequent frames are rendered as if subsurface is not present. Am I missing a setting? Or could this be a bug? I'm rendering with FinalRender.
I just tried rendering from a different frame. For example, if I render frames 50 and 51, 50 is ok but there's no subsurface in 51. It's the same for both the Simple and Physically Based models.
Thanks
Mark

PS There's some problem with the forum. I've tried to resign twice, but I always get a mailer error. It won't post me my password either.

DS Sun and volume light? |

First off I would like to thank sitni sati for their hard work on 2.5. I just love the new subsurface and foam system. I just have a question regarding the DS Sun and volume light. It would be extremely powerful if I was able to use volume light (specifically fr-volume light) in conjunction with the DS Sun and 3D clouds. I want rays of light emanating from the DS Sun and through the 3D clouds. So far I see no volume light when using 3dsmax native volume light. final render's volume light crashes the computer. I have a dual 3.4ghz xeon with 2gb RAM and a Nvidia Quadro FX 3000. Is this possible with the current version of DS? I would BUY Dreamscape 3.0 if this option was possible. So this would be my wishlist for dreamscape 3 along with a Seascape for making small creeks and rivers that can run downhill and you can bend it any angle you want.
