Help,
When I am using the preview window for the clouds with automatic updating, Max7.5 crashes on me. This is consistently reproduced simply by creating a simple scene with sky and clouds - open the preview window and shifting the cloud map on the right hand side - then the software stalls and max crashes.

I have had this problem as well, though I can't always reproduce it.
I know the developers have looked into it but I don't think they were able to reproduce it themselves.
Might be tied into something in our configurations.
Are you using the latest video driver for your card?

Hi,
I do have the latest drivers for the video card though I'm curious which card you have. I have several machines (one with Wildcat 6110 and others Ati) and have never had this problem arise except with my current workstation which has an nividia quadro FX4400. Plenty of onboard RAM on this one. Do you have an nvidia as well?

Ok,
I think we've at least isolated that this is something specific to nvidia cards and / or drivers. I'll contact turbosquid to see if they've run across this issue with their tech support unless you've already approached them about this.

I think you should go ahead and contact them.
I have notified Kreso (Dreamscape owner), but he was not able to reproduce the problem.
I haven't asked him what video card he uses.
Also, I cannot always reproduce it here either.
