temperature emission not fading out with Particle Age

In this simple scene i emit smoke & fire from a Standard Particle emitter.
I use the "Age" map for the emission.
This is working allright for the smoke, but there is something wrong with the temperature channels.
The particles will emit less smoke over their age ( =30 frames). But the temperature emission will not be emitted less over time, instead it just stops the emission after ~20 frames.
And then, after it has stoppped, there are some "weird" little fire aftefacts in the center of the explosion. Not sure if that is correct or not though...
I have a screencapture .mp4 and the Cinema4D file in the attached zip.

Error 5 on sim

Hi,
I modified tutorial 2 by adding turbine blades to the code and having them animate. When I started the sim, I received an error code 5 and the sim stalled at that point. I have included the scene file. Hopefully it helps.
Thanks.

FumeFX 5 Old Preview Window

Is it possible to get the old preview window back?
Either I'm missing something or the new integration of preview window is way slower and less accurate. It used to essentially be realtime in FumeFX 4 once the sim was cached.
Thoughts? I'm in Maya 2018.6.
Thanks

Within general, exported channels, I find extra detail which requires fire to be simulated.

but if I go through the simulation options, I find a lot of things, but no fire ?
Where is that hidden ?

Hang on render

So I just installed, got a simulation running, buut when I try to render (viewport or PV) C4D hangs.
It sits at about 20% processor usage, even if I'm just rendering the first frame.
Is there something I should look out for?
