Fume 1.2 and Vray - bright buckets?

Hey, We just got upgraded to afterburn 4 and installed it along with fume 1.2 I put together a simple render farm test for myself to make sure all the machines had the 2 plugins along with vray and I got very interesting results. These are pretty much out of the box settings.
Many (not all) of the rendered frames have really bright buckets, which seem to throw off really bright GI? (See attached image)
Any thoughts on what might cause this?

Feature request / POLL - density micro mode

Anyone who's ever tried making clouds in AB for his scene had this problem. The clouds' size is ussually in kilometers but even the lowest Ab setting 0.001 gives very thick clouds.
The solution for this was rescaling the scene so that the clouds were a couple of meters in diameter instead.
But rescaling the scene messes up other parts of it - so we end up with separate scene for separate passes
Would it be possible to have a checkbox next to density spinners tha would enable "micro mode" - basically telling AB to take any value in these spinners and divide it by 1000 or even 1mil before passing it to the shaders?
-- who would like to see that?
-- is it possible at all?

Fume Weather system

I've been asked to make the weather system (Weather.Jpg attached) its got about 8 swirls & I'm starting to get that but I'm having problems getting the movement right. Since the the middle moves to the left & the outsides move to the right & there's swirls all over the place I've got a feeling this is going to take time but I was hoping you guys have an idea.
At the mo I have a simple box/rectangle emitter (portrait) the emitter emits smoke, gravity takes the smoke down, & I've increased the buoyancy & Vorticity to make the swirls. Added to that at both bottom corners of the box i have 2 wind helpers to help push the smoke around & up but I keep getting variations on.
I was thinking of using Fume then Krakatoa through PFlow Fume follow
How would you go about setting this up?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Steve

In many wide shots the Dreamscape sea shows very noticeable repeating wave patterns, esp in middle distance. I have tried many different settings and have not been able to create a situation where there is not a visible concatenation of wave pattern. Using 6e with Max 9.

Two grids shaders interaction

Multiple grids problem again.
I understand that making separate grids interact during simulation stage is basicaly impossible.
I was hoping though that I could illuminate smoke in grid A by flames in grid B through multiple scattering.
Is it possible?
If not, can this be added - should be possible since GI from 3rd party renderers works with flames from FumeFX so I don't see why FFX itself couldn;t have that functionality

I'm trying to work out how to add an object to a Fume Obj Src emitter but I can't work it out. I can add the emitter to the fumebox but not the object to the src. could you shed some light on this please?
Thanks
Steve
