I found a lot of tuto on how to render smoke in Redshift (on Max)
using the "RS Volume" material and the "smoke" channel...

but I'm looking for the way to render fire (along with the smoke) please?
Cheers

Hello,

Here is a video tutorial on Redshift shading, except that for emission you will need to use fire or temperature channel instead of smoke.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I put the fuel channel in emission and turned emission tint to orange a it works now.

What can be the use of fuel channel?

You can have unburnt fuel that you might want to visualize instead of smoke for example.

Sorry but same newby problem again (trying to render smoke in Redshift):
- I create a FumeFx + SimpleSource and sim it
- I set its Volume shader shading to "Arnold/Redshift volume
- I set RS to brute force GI
- I assign an "RS volume" material to FumeFx001 (with Smoke assigned to emission channel)
- I create an RSphysicallight and set its "Volume contribution scale" to 1
...and nothing renders...

Ok I found out the reason in this tutorial :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3q2MTxLSVI

The channel are named Smoke and Fuel
but - for some reason - in the RS volume material you have to name it smoke an fuel
(keep it lower case) otherwise nothing renders.

Hello Fabrice,

In our tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DH4ejScFX2g) we also use lowercase and will fix this in our documentation.
