Another foam wish

Hi,

if foam could be written out to another file format, would it be possible to store it at an increased bit depth, so the solid white areas are not clamped to 8bit?

This would give people a bit more latitude when generating the foam.

I second this request

I had a foam sequence that was 70 GB! as bmp's and only 500Mb as PNG's

It's a huge headache dealing with sequences of that size on the network.
