GPU preview not working

Hi, is the gpu preview is suppose to work? Mine doesnt refresh well it actually preview my desktop.
I have a Quadro 4000, on Maya 2013 linux.

I'm presently working with the cpu preview but for exemple when I play with my fluid mapping it does appear in my preview window on cpu.
