Is there a script I could use to run the post sim every time the default cache finishes simming?
This would save me a lot of time. Is it even possible?

I should've read the help files first. That seems like it will work. Only problem now is my 3dsmax script rollout everything is greyed out.
Also, will running a retiming sim via postsim create an endless cycle?

Grayed out scripting will be fixed in the next update - FumeFX 4.0.5.
As for starting a sim from PostSim, I wouldn't recommend doing that.
It would be better to start simulation from script and handle everything from there.
