I tried a simple sim with default settings in a fume grid with a simple source saving out as .vdb format. The sim runs fine and the viewport display set to show smoke is correct but after the sim is finished, playback of the sim is offset in the -y axis.
I tested this in both max 2015 and max 2016 with the same results.
I'm using Fume FX 4.0.2
Thanks,

Any info on a fix for this? It's been broken in some way or form since the release. it poses a problem when trying to load a vdb into maya if it's offset like this.
I added a screen shot of what we got going on here. Simple src, static, low rez. Immediately is offset in 4.0.2. We can't install those 4.0.3 betas, because ..we're on 4.0.2
2016
fume 4.0.2
Hello,
Thank you for the screenshot - you can try to disable boundless (if it's enabled) and see if it works.
Could please someone with 4.0.2 and VDB offset bug try 4.0.3 and see if it works ?
Looking forward to hear your findings.

Great,
I'll have them download the new build and I'll check it out.
Thanks.
Is 4.03 available as an official release? My IT dept doesn't like installing beta software.
And can others that have installed the beta verify that it solves the vdb offset issue?
thanks,
Vance Miller
