DreamScape and Pure PCI card

I just want to confirm from other members of the forum that Art's Pure PCI card (a hardware rendering accelerator) is not compatible with DreamScape. In their technical info, Art says that plug-ins that do shading and lighting may not be supported.

Anybody has info on that?

As far as I know, ART supports Renderman shading language, so that lights and materials should be written specially for it.
