object source emission pattern - dagoose - 06-05-2014 Hi, when I use a polyPlane or a circle plane (cylinder cap) to emit smoke from (fuel inactive, aslo all turbulences and vorticity switched off) I get patterns in the emission. I would expect a uniformly distributed smoke emission over the whole surface (which I then could breakup exactly the way I want with a intensity texture in the smoke slot). Instead I get always patterns like the attached image shows. [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] Am I missing something? I tryed volume, shell ... free flow. Doesn't matter. Cheers Rico Re: object source emission pattern - sitnisati - 06-06-2014 Hello, A little bit of noise on the object source make things look better - please check the attached scene.
