Is pflows particle count independant of a fume sim?
#1
Hi Folks,

Just wondering, if I do a fume / pflow setup it seems that I can change stuff like pflow birth amounts without having to re-sim fume - is it a case where pflow is taking the nearest fume vector in a grid and using it as a simple direction - in other wards is the fume follow operator giving direction to pflow in a simple fashion so I can keep upping the amount of particles I use without needing re-sims?

thats basically correct.

fume provides a vectorfield through the velocity channel. particles will be influenced by that field when using the follow operator just like any spacewarp does.
