Hello,
We have a licence server controlling floating licences for fumeFx. The connection seems fine, and we can get the licences from the server, however, we get a lag of more than 20 seconces each time FumeFX or AfterBurn try to get a licence from the licence server (can go up to 2minutes 30 seconds).
Anybody ever get this problem? When using a local licence we don't have any problems. Our production team cannot work like that, it causes great delays in production.

Hello,
It's hard to tell why would it take that much without
being present.
If you access a shared folder on a license server from a windows explorer,
do you get any lags ?
After you have accessed it this way, does AFLICS still have big lag?

We have this too but luckily not that long. Ussually about 4-5 secs.
And it's only the first time DCPFlics gets contacted. After that it works normally - til the next Max restart.
Other newtwork connections with the server do no have this lag

Hello,
I was talking to another major studio that uses many of our products and they
said that they have not seen any lag.
Not sure about your network setup, but they have a dedicated machine they use
only to keep various licenses and this machines does nothing else.
