Dynamics Tutorial - manual animation - JoJackman - 03-27-2008 In the Dynamics tutorial, it says that an object can be manually animated through the water and create wakes when dynamics is unselected. This would be useful in a scene I am working on, but I can't get it to work. With dynamics unselected, no wake/waves are calculated; with it on, you can't manually animate. Is manual animation without dynamics possible as the tut says? If so, any clue what I might be doing wrong? Re: Dynamics Tutorial - manual animation - sitnisati - 05-29-2008 Hello, You might try to increase wake scale to 100 and see if it shows up. Also, inside DS Dynamics Daemon, select object that is in the simulation and make sure that Wake Strength is not set to zero. Regards, Kresimir Re: Dynamics Tutorial - manual animation - oceans55 - 01-17-2009 I had some trouble but gradually figured it out. Open "Foam" scene create a sphere and key frame it Drag the sphere across the "sea". Using the dynamics settings mentioned in the previous reply post. If that works then you probably had problems with the dynamics settings or the sea scene you created. |
