frame interpolation - Bandu - 03-11-2008

It would be very nice if FFX could, not simulate between frames, but just calculate the voxels density, color whatever it needs to render between two frames.

Can you be more precise as of what you mean\ trying to achieve with this ?

thanks

bandu you cant up the simulation steps?

Rif, I think Bandu may be talking about Retiming a sim., what we were discussing earlier, instead of changing the duration and resimming, interpolating the new frames in between instead.

Typing the message I was thinking about camera motion blur and PFlow's FumeFX Follow operator.
Rendering camMB, FFX is blending between 2 frames, doesn't matter if there are two or thousand MB steps.
Bias or Duration frames doesn't matter as well, it always looks like this

so... I was thinking, what happened to the particles in Follow operator between frames before I realized the existence of velocity :-)
my bad, sorry..
