transferring a dreamscape license? - Largo39 - 01-10-2007
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction or how to tell me how to transfer a dreamscape license to another comp and version of max. i havent been able to find any info about it.

I have tried this one time. (with Afterburn, but i think it uses the same license-protection-system "DCPFLICS")
But it disn´t work - i destroyed my license and had to reauthorize.
As far as i know you can connect both computers (LAN) and add them in the DCPFLICS-Dialog. Then they can request the license from each other.
Not sure, if this is right, and not sure, too, if you can save the license on a disk for example.

Hello,
Transferring a license between computers is not possible.
However, you can share your license over the LAN to any computer.
You can read details about DCPFLICS inside a help file.
