FumeFX network rendering policy - Fabrice - 09-22-2022 Hi, I have 1 permanent FumeFX worstation licence. I understand to simulate on more than 1 PC I need to buy FumeFX simulation licences. But in order to network render (with Backburner) do I need to buy 1 licence for each additional PC ? RE: FumeFX network rendering policy - Kresimir Tkalcec - 09-22-2022 Hello Fabrice, There is no need for any FumeFX license for rendering - only for simulation. We had FumeFX shader licenses for Arnold when using Standard Shader but that requirement is gone in FumeFX 6. RE: FumeFX network rendering policy - Fabrice - 09-23-2022 Ok thanks Tkalcec. Cheers, F RE: FumeFX network rendering policy - Kresimir Tkalcec - 09-26-2022 Hello, If you don't have FumeFX installed, images will not render. This is the question for 3ds max developers and probably for renderer developers. I'm not a rendering expert, but it surprises me that this option doesn't exist already in 3ds max or renderer you use. |
