fumefx preview quality - vuvey - 06-06-2018
has the fume preview gotten worse?
I've previewed different scenarios (explosions, smoke, etc) and all look super bad..
even the quality (res of the container) doesn't matter..
at least from what I can see..
I'm running the latest drivers on my gpu and working in fume 4.1.1..

Can you please let us know what is your GPU viewport quality and grid dimension?
We have not changed anything for FumeFX 4.1.1.

in this case:
gpu quality: 3
size. 533,567,100
also tried increasing the gpu quality but then it looks like it erodes in zspace..

if I recall correctly, the gpu preview actually looked good on quality 3..
before fume v4.. or not?

Hello,
Quality 3 really depends on your sim and scene. Quality option was not changed for quite some time - the last changes we did were for FumeFX 5.0.
