Rendering Sims Separately - nelpiper - 02-09-2017 Hello. I have 3 sims in which 1 of them are fire and smoke and the other 2 are only smoke. The fire sim cast light on the other 2 smoke-only sims. I like this interaction but I´d like to have control over all the sims. Is there a way to render the sims separately from each other but still have the interaction of the light on the others? Thanks. Re: Rendering Sims Separately - sitnisati - 02-13-2017 Hello, The GI is cast from one grid to another at render time, so if you'd exclude one grid from rendering it wouldn't cast any light.
