This is a big question/want/need I have as well. I would think the clean Arnold integration is going to push a lot of people to 2017 faster than they would normally migrate to a big release...

FumeFX 4.0.2 for Maya has been released today.
It includes support for Maya 2016.5 and 2017 plus several bug fixes.
