Inconsistent mesh - petkovic - 02-06-2014 Hi guys, I have a strange probl, I have a realflow mesh, something like a lava thing, and i wanna to add smoke to mesh... When simulation started i was getting this warring or what ever message Has inconsistent mesh. Velocity will be 0.0! So my question will be is there a some workaround for these kind of situations? cheers Re: Inconsistent mesh - rconover - 02-06-2014 Progressive meshes (like RFs- topology changes frame-by-frame) are likely to be an issue with 'anything' trying to use them as an emitter. I'd sooner try and use the particles that generated the mesh. At least you get an error message with fume-many software just like to crash instead.
Re: Inconsistent mesh - petkovic - 02-07-2014 Thats an good idea with particles, thx for the tip ill try that...cheers Re: Inconsistent mesh - sitnisati - 02-07-2014 Hello, There might be a solution in the near future. Apparently XMesh could handle that and we are looking to supporting it for FumeFX 4. We hope it'll work ! Thanks. Kresimir |
