Vray support? - petkovic - 12-12-2013 Hi everyone, I hope no one asked this before, Is there plan, and when, for vray support? I'm not a fan of mentalray ![]() thx Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 01-07-2014 Hello, We are working closely with Chaosgroup on the FumeFX-VRay-Maya shader. They had to add some code for us to support FumeFX/Maya and we're getting closer to the shader release. Thank you. Kresimir Tkalcec Re: Vray support? - Shark - 01-09-2014 Is it ported also to 3dsMax? Thanx Re: Vray support? - petkovic - 01-09-2014 Great, cant wait for that to happen ![]() cheers Re: Vray support? - petkovic - 02-03-2014 I just saw this info: VRay shader for FumeFX[Maya] is ready for final testing! If you have VRay and FumeFX[Maya] and would like to bets test the shader, please email us at support@afterworks.com. but no still no reply on email? cheers Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 02-06-2014 Hello, We'll be sending beta next. There is a slight delay as we had some issues with Z-depth, but at the end it seems like it's a VRay bug. Regards, KResimir Tkalcec Re: Vray support? - petkovic - 02-06-2014 Oh, i see great then, in this moment i think we could live without z-depth, its a beta everything is allowed ![]() cheers Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 02-07-2014 Yes, the beta is open to anyone with FumeFX for Maya and VRay. Few more tweaks and we're ready. Regards, Kresimir Tkalcec Re: Vray support? - petkovic - 02-24-2014 Hi Kresimir, I dont know if I'm missing something, but I have installed plugin for vray and when I try to render fume with vray nothing happen? Are there any specific steps to make this work? cheers Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 02-25-2014 Hello, Can you please check in FumeFX about box that the version is 3.5.3 - you've should have installed that version as well ? Also, here are the VRay shader files install locations: /vray/shaders/FumeFX.txt /vray/vrayplugins/vray_FumeFX.dll Please let me know. Kresimir Re: Vray support? - petkovic - 02-25-2014 Hi Kresimir, I was able to find the problem thx to Domagoj and support team, for some reason I have re-install fume with 3.5.2 instead of 3.5.3, I must say also, fumefx with vray works perfect, great job guys cheers Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 02-26-2014 Hi Milorad, No problems and thanks for the feedback! Feel free to email us if you find any rendering issue with VRay. Thank you ![]() Kresimir Re: Vray support? - rconover - 02-26-2014 Is this a beta version of 3.5.3 to test with Vray then? Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 02-27-2014 Yes, the 3.5.3 is the only build that works with FumeFX-VRay shader. Also, VRay 2.45 is a minimum too, but the current build will not work with VRay 3. Regards, Kresimir Tkalcec Re: Vray support? - dagoose - 04-01-2014 heyho, works nicely for me here too. Just one question. Is there a way to produce a render element which serves as a mask for the fire and/or smoke? Thanks a lot Rico Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 04-02-2014 There is no support for Render Passes at the moment, but we will have it done for the next version. Thank you. Regards, Kresimir Tkalcec Re: Vray support? - radobe - 05-20-2014 Is there any plan to implement motion blur? Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 05-20-2014 Hello, Does VRay supports motion blur for the volumetrics ? Regards, Kresimir Tkalcec Re: Vray support? - radobe - 05-21-2014 Hello, As far as i know it does, at least with Phoenix. Re: Vray support? - sitnisati - 05-22-2014 I guess it's something specific to their shaders. We can do it for FumeFX if we get a proper feddback support from Vlado and Chaosgroup. I will ask him if this is possible then. Thank you. Regards, Kresimir Tkaclec |
