Motion Blur Problems - Stargate - 07-23-2013 I'm having trouble getting the motion blur to work with Mental Ray. The entire sim seems to jump between renders and the lighting also seems to jitter. I've got auto volume on etc. I've also increased the sampling. Any ideas? The ONLY difference between these renders is the addition of motion blur. Thanks. Regards, Kresimir Re: Motion Blur Problems - sitnisati - 08-06-2013 Hello, It seems that the problem is that mental ray interprets the FumeFX grid as an object and since it's adaptive (it's moving around), mental ray uses that motion to generate velocity. Non-adaptive grid does not exhibit this issue. You might want to exclude the FumeFX grid from the motion blur. Regards, Kresimir |
