Hyper Solids in AfterBurn Problem
#1
Hello

I wanted to know if anybody has problem with Hyper Solids in AfterBurn.
I put a Particle System Super Spray then I put Afterburn then Hyper Solide use Phong Shading then Metaball and I put one Omni light and use AB Shadow Map. I click render and crash all the time. I even sent it to my network farm and crash.
I open the Afterburn scenes files that come with Afterburn I use mball-liquid and pflow-example01 and crash.

Thank you
Here you have the file you ask for http://quicman.com/media/HyperSolids.rar
I'm running Windows XP MAX 2008 32bit and Afterburn 4.
This is the why it happens I load the file I render it works. But if I use the Arc Rotate In Perspective View then render. It will crash.

Hi Normand,

I did as you have mentioned, but I get no crash.
Can anyone else confirm this crash ?

Thank you.

Filip, thanks for checking this scene.
If we can get it reproducible, it would be easy to find it and fix it... in the worst case - it can be system dependant and
not reproducible :?

Thanks

I get a consistent crash when rendering the animation on frame #3 on both 2008 32-bit and 2009 32-bit in WinXP SP3.

I got a screengrab the first time, it just hung, every since, complete crash shuts max right down.

Confirmed here as well. It crashes if rendering animation..

Thank you for assistance!

Hi guys.

I have the same crashing problem when trying to render hypersolids. Just wondering if there has been any headway in resolving this issue. Thanks.

Hello,

It's fixed and AfterBurn update (as well as DreamScape) are waiting for FumeFX.
I hope it'll be out in a week, max. two.

Regards,
