FumeFx Particle Source
#1
Hi, everyone.

I don't understand this Source. It should be a source acting like an Object Source, no ?
I've tried to create a fire from a Pfsource.
I create a Fume particle source, select it in my FumeBox, I use the Plow cache.
But I can't render anything. To get something displayed, I have to render my particles to get any fire (but this one is "include" in my particles shapes).
I have to put a big radius to have voxels displayed (10m for a 0.1m grid spacing).

Hello,

What are you simulating with Particle Source - fire or smoke ?
Inside Particle source, set Radius to be at least the size of FumeFX Spacing.
If you still do not see anything inside the preview window during the simulation, try to run the simulation with Simple Source to see if there is any simulation at all.

Thx.
I'm simulating a consuming towel.
This towel is flying and leaving peaces of fire while consuming...
So my towel is emitting some particle...
Decreasing the spacing give me something, you're right, but it increase my simulation time... I've to manage this.
