Floating Simulation
#1
Hello

What is the time for a Simulation Node for release the licence after the end of a simulation over Network & floating licence server.

Here's my application test :

I've got a floating server working fine ( 2 working licence + 4 simulation)
I submit a simulation job over network (thinkbox deadline).

I install FumFX, in SL mode, on a first render node => works fine => I stop simulating on this manchine. (SL licence should be released at this moment)
I instal fumeFX, in SL mode, on few more render nodes => begins to fail simulating.
And now AfterFLICS tool on my server is marked as "All licences are in use" while i don't have anymore simulation running.

How can i reset the use of a licence by a SLnode ? Does the SLnode gives correctly the information that he stopped the simulation ?
What is the duration of a 'session' after a SLnode pick a licence ?

Thanks !

I can confirm that the Simulation Licence is badly released.
This morning the licence was still in use (while no simulation during night)
I've restart the service in AfterFlics tool and now my sim node works perfectly !

Hello,

The FumeFX license is taken once FumeFX is created and released once 3ds max is closed.
