Wavelet and initial state not working
#1
I am trying to use wavelet on a simulation that was started from an initial frame. When I try to simulate the wavelets, everything that was part of the initial frame disapear, and only the newly added smoke is being simulated in wavelets.

Here is my initial frame (just a test):

And here is my first wavelet frame:

I have only an emiter on the left and so the wavelet are just simulating ths one. If I deactivate my emiter before simulating the wavelets, I get nothing at all.

Is there a way to simulate wavelet on the voxels that were part of the initial frame?

I think I found a workaround. Instead of using an initial state, I will use a fumeFX source for my initial state. That way the wavelet seems to have an effect.

Hello,

Thanks for report - we will look into that.

I use fumefx 3.02, and I get the same problem.
Simulation in default mode, choose my initiat state with the proper .fxd file, resimulation from this file.
And then, when doing the wavelet simulation, it gets from the beginning, not the initial state.
