Normaly (afaik), you sprecify in the Fume-preferences every n-th Frame as Snapshot (this is off by default). So, set Snampshot to every 30th frame -> run Sim from 0 to 30, then "Load initial State" and pick the Snapshot (is called something like "FumeFX01_030.FDC") of frame 30.
To start you Sim with that State, you have to click the "SimFromLoadedState"-Button, not the Standard "Simulate"-Button.
