Mixing Afterburn with Dreamscape

In a follow-up, should Atmosblender work with this?

I guess its designed for third-party compatibility, but I would have thought that two Afterworks atmospherics should be able to mix together without it?

Regardless, atmosblender doesnt seem to help either.

Any tips would be welcome - at the moment it looks like I will need to comp the two together.
