Hi Guys we are using newest fumefx 3.5.3 but there is still problem with motion blur and vray. We cant get any motion blur with this renderrer, it is poosible to fix it
Thanks a lot
Hello,
Atmospherics in 3ds max have never been supported for motion blur.
Not sure if any renderer supports that.

Vray 2 and fumefx 2.1 was doing proper motion blur, now with fiume 3.5 we cant use it
Hello,
Could you please point me to an animation of motion blur you are referring to ?
The only motion blur I am aware of is by using Scanline, FusionWorks and Motion Blur render element as the renderer by itself does not support volumetrics motion blur.
Thank you.

I am reffering to motion blur, I dont understend how it was done but with vray 2 and fumefx 2.1 when i turn on motion blur on vray in rendering rolout the motion blur was rendered. It it was fake image motion blur it doesnot matter but it worked. Now when i try everything (like turning on image motion blur in object properties) or adding motion blur in envirinment/effects rolout it is not working at all..
Hello,
I am not sure how it worked in VRay as it does not have access to any FumeFX velocity info.
Have you tried using Scanline, FusionWorks and Motion Blur render element ? I tested it here and it works okay.

I realy dont know but it worked. I also tryed the scanline renderer but it has sometime some bugs like collorfull splotches in motion blured image.. And also when we are using plugin like vray scatter we cant render image with holdouts because it is not working with scanline. Can you please solve this issue and len the vray render exact same image like scanline is with motion blur effect?
Thanks
Hello,
Could you please email me the scene with FumeFX 2.1 and VRay image motion blur. I am tying to see if it worked, but without any luck and as far as I know, this never worked.
Thank you.

In this studio we have only fumex 3.5 bought so i am not sure if we have acces to older versions. But when i worked in Scanline VFX it worked nicely (vray and fumefx) and i render versions with and without motion blur without problems, realy trust me
Hello,
Please email me with the 3ds max version you use and I will send you FumeFX 2.1c as I would really want to test this possibility.
Thank you.
