HELP - FumeFX Field artifacts - HELP - Eric-S - 05-04-2009 Hi when I render my scene with fumeFX, the render gives me some artifacts (see image attachted). My spacing boxe size is around 550x500x600. So I don’t think it’s the quality of the sim. I was seeing the same problem when I render some dense smoke in close-up. We are also rendering with scanline. Any suggestion? thanks for your support, Eric Re: HELP - FumeFX Field artifacts - HELP - Jordan - 05-05-2009 Have you tried using jitter? Or perhaps Step Size? Re: HELP - FumeFX Field artifacts - HELP - Eric-S - 05-05-2009 The Jitter fix the artifact BUT the jitter blured up the fire? (see attachment image) Is there a way to sharpen the fire after playing with the jitter? thanks alot for your help, Re: HELP - FumeFX Field artifacts - HELP - sitnisati - 05-19-2009 Those lines could become visible if you have an sloped object interacting with FumeFX. Is that maybe your case ? You can try to smooth it out by checking "Soft Edges Near Objects" param under FumeFX Rendering rollout. Kresimir |
