HELP - FumeFX Field artifacts - HELP
#1
Hi when I render my scene with fumeFX, the render gives me some artifacts (see image attachted).
My spacing boxe size is around 550x500x600. So I don’t think it’s the quality of the sim.
I was seeing the same problem when I render some dense smoke in close-up.
We are also rendering with scanline.

Any suggestion?
thanks for your support,

Eric

Have you tried using jitter? Or perhaps Step Size?

The Jitter fix the artifact BUT the jitter blured up the fire? (see attachment image)

Is there a way to sharpen the fire after playing with the jitter?

thanks alot for your help,

Those lines could become visible if you have an sloped object interacting with FumeFX.
Is that maybe your case ?
You can try to smooth it out by checking "Soft Edges Near Objects" param under FumeFX
Rendering rollout.
