Can't Render Animation w/AB4 (Max file and Video Demo includ
#1
Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before. When I render a Single image of my scene containing an AfterBurn 4.0 environment, attached to a Particle Flow system, the render looks correct, but if I attempt to render an animation (via Frames or Range), it repeatedly renders the first frame of the animation even though the frame counter is incrementing as indicated in the Rendered Frame Window. It thought this may have been a more general problem, so I deactivated the AB4 environment, and changed the PF Render type from 'none' to 'Geometry'. The animation rendered correctly. Rendering an animation of the AB environment appears to be a problem.

The 3ds Max 2009 (32-bit) scene file and a Quicktime H.264 video are available:

Thanks a bunch for any insight on this problem!

I got past this problem by exporting the relevant objects into a seperate max file, resetting 3ds Max, and merging in all of the objects in the exported max file. I am still uncertain to what the problem is with the previous scene, but at least I can continue the work.

Hello,

It looks you have to add Render operator (type: phantom is ok) to Event 02 and
everything is okay.
