I seem to remember it was an issue and it was fixed Sad

Now we're on Max 2008 64, Vista 64, latest DS and boom Sad

The only solution I found is to reduce the sharpness - but the clouds loose detail long before those blocks dissapear so it's not really a good solution Smile

Any ideas?

PS. DS crashed a couple of times on the preview window on this scene, but ofcourse when I wanted to test it before submitting here it did not Smile So check that as well when you open this scene.
Anybody else having crashes in the preview window on Max 2008?

Ok, checked it out on a couple of other mashines - all vista 64 max 2008 unfortunately Sad
I wasn't able to recreate the scene from scratch to show these artifacts, but the attached scene always rendered them.
This means it's not a big problem but it still exists Smile

Hello Filip,

I have rendered it with DS 2.5d and it renders fine (ver 2.5d was supposed to fix this pixelization).
I'm wondering if anyone else can repro it with DreamScape 2.5d.

Thank you

I tripplechecked the version - even downloaded the installer from the members area and reinstalled - still getting the artifacts Sad on 3 different mashines.

Anyone getting them too?

Please, anyone from Sitni: check the files.

And all other users:
- anyone with Max 2008 x64 on Vista x64 - please check the provided scene.

I already checked about 14 mashines in two facilities here and they all show this issue. the hardware side of things is really irrelevant - happens on intels, xeons, opterons and athlon x64 Sad
