Hi bernhard.

Just select the dynamics and there is a checkbox in there for the boat wake!

thx a lot plaford, I really didn't recognize that I can generate foams for the sea surface, the wakes and the objects, That's cool, I also wanna thank Steve who always supported me from my beginning until yet.

However, for some reason, I could fix now the problem, the foam is now on the wake and also generated from the boa surface.

You can see it very clear in the viewport.
But now, the next problem is here... I can't see it in the render...

Hmm, thx for every little help,
bernhard

Hi bernhard.

I had this problem the other day myself.

Firstly check you bitmap files and make sure they have the the colour on wake and foam on them. then make sure the use exported map is tickes and then export the map.

Then apply another material to the sea and then reapply the material again.

Hope this helps

thank you for your fast reply.

I've checked everything, and I could find out that it is a material issue.
Or better, the render I use.

I use vray sun & sky system, because all renders I do I have setup with vray. I could find out, that the vray sun & sky settings are burning out the Dreamscape materials.

That means, if I use the Dreamscape SeaSurface Material on the sea, and I will use Vray Sun & Sky with the lowest settings you can use, you still get a very bright result, look here:

So I decided to use the Dreamscape Materia in a Vray Blend material, mixing both of them a little bit to get a nice sea material.

I could reach a nice result and getting a nice sea material with this method, but it seems to be, that now you can't see the foam.

That means, the foam was calculated correct, and it would work, if I would have any other material solution.

Hmm, well, but now I really have a serious problem, because the whole setup was made for vray sun and sky, and now I have no idea, how I can fix that material issue.

thx for every little help,
bernhard
