Fire Problem
#1
Why does Arnold fire look small, The C4d standard renderer looks better and I don't know why, Please fumefx devs explain, I tried to grab everything in this screenshot so you can see the difference between Arnold and c4d standard renderer Btw this is just a fire sim. Thank you.

Hello,

is black-body set in fire color source when C4D standard renderer is used?

Could you please attach this scene?

Best regards,
Kristian

Hello,

try changing FumeFX Fire Opacity attribute in Render tab when using C4D standard renderer (e.g. by multiplying it with 0.01).

Best regards,
Kristian

Hello thanks for the response, but what problem does that solve?

I guess that In Arnold you have black-body and in FumeFX with standard render you probably do not.

So why does black body always shorten the length of the fire?

The black-body uses temperature to render, while the other shader uses fire.
Those two are very different shaders.

Black-body is realistic method, so you should give it a try.

Ignore the message above, I think I get it now, the fire is based on temperature(realistic) so thats why its shortened , it means that in reality fire wouldnt go that high as shown in standard renderer right?
