emission from variable point count
#1
looks like fume doesn´t like object emissions from objects that change point/polygon count during animation.
Tried if generators like sweep will work for emission - ok they don´t will be limitation I suppose.
So I tried baking to alembic. First try to sim I got a crash ( that´s the reason for the filename) but could not reproduce it.
I succeeded to emit from the alembic, but fume is shooting around and really doesn´t like that thing ...

Im facing same thing. Durring the simulation on torus that is changing scale it starts but after few frames it just stops. Its not crashing, its just stoping.

Im on

Just another scene for same issue. This time I use an instance of a volume mesher . This works fine as long as polycount is stable. To proove this, disable expresso and it will sim fine.
But as soon as I get variable poly/point count by adding a TP emitter being meshed, fume is puzzled and shoots around or will even crash ...
