i have a scene where objects have average dimensions of 5000 maya unit. in order to view objects, i position the camera such that it compensate the entire scene (i.e. it's positioned @ (9000, 7000, 7000)). In fumeFX I create smoke that is comparable to the scene size (e.g. a grid size could be 3000x3000x8000), however when I open the GPU preview window the smoke looks very pixelated? I have to zoom in a lot to see nice details, but when I do so I don't see the entire scene?! Any advise?
