Who Wants to Drop Vue for Dreamscape Dev?
#1
Just throwing this out for discussion. I'm pretty much infuriated by they way the developers of Vue have treated the customers, and I'm pretty close to giving them the finger forever for that treatment. The problem, of course, is that Vue is pretty slick.

How many users of Vue xStream/Dreamscape would be willing to walk away from E-On and put the money into DS instead? What features would it take to get Vue users to use DS instead?

For my money, the easier atmosphere editor and terrain editor are the features I need most. The procedural terrains with materials that spawn objects are also pretty cool. For the most part, the other features in Vue are of little interest to me since they largely replicate things you can do in Max anyway.

Just for conversation for when DS users drop into the board.

Hello Shawn,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I know that DreamScape and other tools have been put a side due to FumeFX development but our desire is to continue their development at some point.
DreamScape has a huge development potential as there are so many things that can be improved and added.
All my previous promises regarding the new cycle didn't hold so I won't make a new one, but I'll put a note here when we start on the long awaited DreamScape 3.0.

Hello,

Sorry to disappoint, but 2018 will not be the DreamScape year, but the tech is under development.
