Hi,
I'm taking Allan McKay's FXTD Mentorship. In his course he is using Fume FX v3.x, while I have bought v5.0.1 (edu version).
Everything he does comes out completely different when I do the same, so it has to do with the difference in version (and simulation engine).
Is there anyone who can help me out ? Someone who knows how to "translate" v3 or v4 to v5 ? So I can get the proper results. For example: in his duststorm lesson, the smoke should be billowing (I hope this is the right word), while in my case it looks like big scoops of ice-cream (very rounded with very few differences in color/shadows so it looks flat, it's difficult to explain).
Here some examples, the first how it should be, the second how my simulation renders out
Any help is welcome. Thanks !
