afterburn 4.0b installation issue - license does not exist - bdemetz - 10-29-2010
Have run into this before with both fumefx and afterburn. Seems random, however this time we have not been able to get it working.
Windows XP 64bit
3dsmax 64bit
Internet explorer
numerous reboots
firewall/av disabled
Either via manual method or via TS interface, prompts are followed and continually:
[localhost] Trying to connect...
[localhost] License does not exist
Please advise. Thx very much.

follow up...
in dcpflics we still only see the fumefx license installed. is there any way we can obtain/retrieve/be sent the aburn license file, copy it to the correct location, restart dcpflics and have it pick up the license?

Hi Brian,
So for online authorization, maybe you already had too many authorizations with that serial ? In that case you need to contact TS so they can reset that license.
Also, you can try to comment current .lic file and try again.

Thx very much. Turned out to be difference between localhost and everyone in dcpflics. Worked after that.
