FumeFX and Vray
#1
Hi, all.

I have the default Matte/Shadow Material which come with max 2008 and assigned to an object.

I turned on Atmosphere render and turned off the receive/affect alpha and reflection because I dont need them.

I rendered with Vray and the problem is that when I rendered without FumeFX, it rendered correctly which means

the object did not get alpha, but when I rendered with FumeFX, the object got alpha which means it rendered the matte black with alpha value of 1.

What is wrong with it..?

Thanks,

-j

I have found some net render problems with vraymtlwrapper (was a while ago so it could be fixed) but I stick to using the vray object properties for matting objects

try using the vray object properties to assign the matte shadow.
