Xref not working
#1
Should i be able to xref a scene with a fumeFX grid in it into another scene?

Doesn't seem to work.

If i merge the xref it works so it is almost there, am i missing something?

Hi,
XREF should work normally - the referenced scene can be changed, and changes are later reflected in scene that references it.
What is your Max / OS / service pack? 32/64 bit? You could also zip and send the scenes for example.
Is everything on the same PC or across network?

Max 9 x64 ex1 rev4
fumefx1.0a
winXPx64 sp2
dual quad xeon 2.5ghz
8gb ram

xref file is coming off a mapped network drive.

The grid is visible and at render time it appears to load the cache but just renders a blank frame.

If I merge the xref it works fine.
