I posted it as a bug some time ago and was wondering if anythings moved
AfterBurn no longer supports caustics and global illumination in Final Render SP3. It's got something to do with the new way FR deals with object properties. If you upgraded sp2 to sp3 you still have FR Properties in the rightclick menu for every object. If you switch GI or Caustics there it works.
If you turn these options through the new sp3 interface (FR tab in standard object properties) it does not work.
Problem is that if you install a fresh Final Render SP3a you don't have the FR properties menu and you're left with the new interface so there is no way of rendering GI nor Caustics with Afterburn
