Source area blur

Hello,
I did not find an answer in the documentation, what does source area blur do? Does it require physical camera motion blur or Vray camera properties(Render Tab) motion blur enabled?

Hello,

This option slightly blurs the smoke/fire values around the source as sometimes with low resulution grud you can see voxelization on the source.
It does not removes it, but just slightly improves it.


Generally not needed when using higher resolution sims.

Hi, thanks for answering.
What does that means by "source"? The orange circles around the particles? Source blur can be adjusted or its a fixed value simply on/off?

Hello,

It will blur source voxels - voxels where the source is and it's a fixed amount of blur.
