Render issues with FinalRender 3.5 Sp6.
#1
I made a few simulations for my current project and i'm bumping into render issues. I send out everything to the renderfarm, all seems to go well, until i realize some frames (so far each time a single frame out of the whole sim) does not render. It just hangs, and it keeps trying and trying over and over, never finishing the job. I believe it has to do with reflections, i'm setting on a fire highly reflective chrome object. Any advises over which settings to use with FInalRender to ease the process of FFX atmos with reflections and refractions? I'm not using GI here. Any known settings with the Raytracing accelerator?
Thanks for replying soon, this one's being a real pain at the moment Smile
Cheers,

A.

PS: I notice now rendering it locally that it crashes max when building the illumination pass of FumeFX.

It seems leaving the "read/write cache" check box unchecked in the FFX illumination dialog was the problem.

Hello,

If you can attach simple scene, that would help a lot.

Thank you

Does it matter if the sim files are not attached, obviously it's real big... maybe my problem has to do with the cache files? ...it's 200GB of datas :$

Just a scene file would be good and let me know if it crashes on any early frame (so we don't have to sim the whole range), or it crashes on particular one ?

Thanks
