FumeFX 1.1 Sims unexpectedly stopping - Jordan - 08-11-2008
I have been doing both network sims (through Deadline) and local machine sims and have found that sometimes they will just stop before the end frame and have a continue.tmp file in the dir but I am unable to continue. It keeps saying that it found continue data or that it found data for frame 0 but the spacing is different. It has happened a few times since I moved to 1.1 and on different files
Im on Max9 64bit on XP64 with Fume 1.1

that usually means something is happening wrong in the sim.. first thing i would try is enable the Log and try it in local .. you will be able to read what is going on when it stops ..
it should stop in local as well as on the farm .. so you will be able to see whats going on ..

By enable log do you mean just check the hold open button on the sim window?
It would be good if there was an option to write this to a file in the sim directory.

yaya it could be a good idea to have it writting \ saving automaticly in c:\temp of each local machines or so .. good wish in the futur i think,
