Turn fire on and off - sdeyo - 03-13-2008 Hello FumeFX users, I have used fumefx a bit but am having a bit of a problem having a fire turn on at a set frame then turn off at a set frame. It would be nice to then have it smolder after the flame goes out. Any tricks? Re: Turn fire on and off - Rif - 03-13-2008 smolder ? I usually use Paramblock to Control fume Values per sources.. but not everyone has Tp so heres a Standard max Way example : Basicly in the image you see that you can animate the Value of Fuel per source and control its curves in the track View .. that is the most simple way that i know off to do what i think your asking to do .. hope this help .. Re: Turn fire on and off - sdeyo - 03-14-2008 Oops Smoulder with a U sounds better. Thanks for the example I will try this. I have been using a slice modifier in test with ok results but this looks like the correct way. |
