Liquid Fluid Simulation in the future ? - CHaas - 01-24-2008 I just did some tests with the freeware Blender and the build in Water fluid simulation. I am impressed by the output from a free tool and i am asking myself it it is possible for future releases of fume to include such a solver ? As far as i know the fluid in Blender use a free code base, so maybe it is possible to use same code fragments in fume for water, it use a bounding box like fume, defines fluid objekts and deflektors in a similar way. It´s just a thougt, but a fluid simulator with both water AND fire in one solve would be great. chris Re: Liquid Fluid Simulation in the future ? - sitnisati - 01-30-2008 Hi Chris, At this point we do not have such plans. FumeFX will remain a tool for smoke/fire simulations, which we plan to improve with new releases. Thank you for your suggestion. Regards, Kresimir |
