Afterburn and volumetric lighting? - Brian Harp - 10-11-2005
Hello,
Can't seem to get volumetric lighting to work with Afterburn.
example: Clouds casting volumetrics.
On the Afterworks website they have an image that's actually doing this,
can anyone point me in the right direction on some of the steps needed to do this?

Hello Brian,
Similar scene comes with AfterBurn and is located under examples\classic folder.
File name is ftvlight.max and it could be a good starting point.

I looked at the file and noticed that I wasn't using AB Shadow Map, and Iyou have to have this shadow type for it to work.
Instead I was using the AB Ray Trace Shadow and it wasn't working.
